Daily Brain Care Ingredients

Daily Brain Care is a powerful formula that is backed by many years of research and is designed to give you significant nutritional support to impact nearly every cell in your body. Here are some important details about the ingredients in the formula.

BiAloe® is the retail name of the aloe polysaccharides (sugars) used in this formula. Aloe vera has been used by humans for thousands of years, and it is most associated with topical uses, such as for wounds or burns. However, aloe vera from BiAloe® is most effective when taken orally to get the maximum benefits of the complex polysaccharides (sugars), such as mannose, that are known to be important for all biosynthetic activities, particularly those that lead to optimal immune function. BiAloe® is made with a proprietary extraction process that results in the most concentrated and bioavailable form of these crucial polysaccharides.

Stabilized Rice Bran comes from the rice milling process, where brown rice is converted to white rice, and it has been documented to contain over 450 phytonutrients, more than 200 of which are amino acids, cofactors, minerals, and vitamins, among others. Many of these compounds also have documented health properties. Thus, rice bran provides a rich profile of nutrients and other molecules that are crucial for maintaining health.

Golden Flaxseed is a source of essential fatty acids that are required for the maintenance of life. “Essential” means that the human body cannot manufacture or synthesize a nutrient by itself, so it must be obtained from the diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are a group of essential nutrients that are commonly lacking in the diet. While you may think that eating seafood or fish oil is the best way to get omega-3 fatty acids, the reality is that flaxseed contains sufficient amounts of the two true essential fatty acids: linoleic acid (the parent omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (the parent omega-3). Seafood and fish oil contain essential fatty acid derivatives, such as docosahexaenoic acid and eicosapentaenoic acid that are commonly overconsumed and hence may be why many of the studies on fish oil show no health benefit. Nonetheless, the fatty acids found in golden flaxseed support the health of the heart and blood vessels and can reduce inflammation.

Sunflower Lecithin is a fatty natural emulsifier that helps the body absorb other nutrients and phytonutrients. Sunflower lecithin is rich in choline, which is necessary for brain and heart health, and other essential fatty acids such as phosphatidylinositol, which is important for our metabolism and the structure of all cells. Sunflower lecithin may support healthy cholesterol and blood pressure levels. I use sunflower lecithin in the formula, instead of the more commonly used soy lecithin, to help avoid allergies or sensitivities to soy.

Dioscorea supports the synthesis and balance of hormones and may be beneficial for improving your cholesterol levels. Dioscorea contains a range of nutrients, including fiber, beta carotene, and vitamin C, and it also contains molecules called saponins that may ultimately result in its ability to have a beneficial effect on cholesterol and blood sugar levels, although these findings are preliminary and not well-defined at this time.

Tart Cherry is a nutritional dynamo, containing a wide range of nutrients, such as fiber, beta carotene, vitamin C, potassium, manganese, copper, and vitamin K, which are all important for our health. Consuming tart cherry has been documented in many studies to show that it helps with insomnia, reduces pain and soreness, and is beneficial for the brain and the immune system.

N-Acetyl-Cysteine is a slightly different form of the amino acid, cysteine, thus giving it antioxidant properties as it replenishes cellular levels of glutathione, the human body’s master antioxidant. Oral intake of glutathione is ineffective because it is destroyed by normal digestion, so increasing n-acetyl-cysteine is a primary way to enhance your glutathione level, which is also important for counteracting oxidative stress from reactive oxygen species and neutralizing toxic heavy metals and inorganic chemicals. N-acetyl-cysteine can counteract liver failure from acetaminophen toxicity, and it helps to fight off cases of flu, colds, and lung disease.

Calcium Silicate Clay has been safely ingested by humans for a variety of beneficial purposes. The minerals and other compounds in clay can detoxify substances such as aflatoxins. The binding capacity of the clay causes a significant reduction of the body’s load of environmental hazards, such as insecticides, herbicides, poisons, and heavy metals, without interfering with the utilization of vitamins and other micronutrients.

Inositol Hexaphosphate (IP6) is a vitamin-like phytonutrient that has antioxidant properties. It is commonly found in cereals, rice, and nuts. IP6 has shown preliminary promise in the way it apparently prevents cancer cell proliferation but also supports a healthy immune system. The exact mechanisms of its effects against cancerous cells need further study. IP6 also has antioxidant properties, thus it may be beneficial for the heart and cardiovascular system.

Citric Acid is commonly found in citrus fruits and is a key intermediary component of the citric acid (or Kreb’s) cycle, which occurs in cellular metabolism for energy production in the mitochondria, the engine of your cells. Citric acid also bonds or chelates to minerals and metals, allowing the body to better absorb such molecules as calcium and potassium. Citric acid is also used as a flavor enhancer and stops other molecules from oxidizing or spoiling.

Thus, Daily Brain Care is a proprietary and unique blend of ingredients that has many documented benefits to help you live a healthier life.
